General Rules

ALL campers and visitors are required to respect the camp rules.

• The following is prohibited: alcohol & drugs or any illegal substances (including all forms of Marijuana, vapes, tobacco, cigarettes, & electronic cigarettes). Weapons (including guns, knives, tasers, pepper spray, etc). 

• PLEASE NOTE: All baggage and belongings are subject to search by directors or security personnel.

• Campers ARE allowed to bring their cell phones to LOGYC; however, cell phone usage will not be permitted in the bathrooms/shower facilities or during church services. Should an emergency arise, the telephone number for the Youth Camp office is 513.267.1525. You can also contact the camp director at 513.571.2050 anytime during camp. The LOGYC Staff reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.  Counselors also reserve the right to limit cell phone usage beyond this policy.

• All campers must be in their own quarters after lights out and should never be alone without a counselor's permission. 

• Campers will be assigned dorms based upon biological gender and will never be permitted in opposite gender's cabins, bathrooms, or shower facilities.

• Every person is required to conform to the camp schedule, and will not be permitted to leave camp without permission from the camp director(s).

• No PDA (public display of affection) or close body contact between campers is permitted. Beds are for one person. Showers are for one person. Everyone must get dressed privately.

• All campers are required to attend the various camp activities and worship services unless, excused by the camp nurse or director.

• Automobiles are unnecessary and must be parked for the duration of camp.

• Damages to camp property and the property of others is the responsibility of the camper/legal guardian. 

• No profane language, gestures, or signs will be tolerated. 

• No fighting or rough play is permitted, even in fun. Such as towel flipping, etc.

Camper Dress Code:

• All clothing must be modest and appropriate for the camp environment (including clothes worn for water activities). See guidelines below.

• All clothing must be knee length or longer.

• Tight fitting, mesh, or see through clothing is not allowed.

• If leggings are worn, a knee length garment (shirt/dress/skirt) is required. 

• Do not wear anything that reveals: undergarments (this includes bra straps), the trunk (belly, back, etc.) of the body, chest (no cleavage), shoulders, or armpits.

Food Allergy Policy:

•If a camper has food allergies, the legal guardian is required to send supplemental meals according to the child's dietary restrictions.

Medicine Policy:

Prescription medication must come in their original container, which must display the camper's name and dosage information. ***Please Note: All medications must be given to camp staff at check-in. No medications are allowed in dorms.***

Platform Worker/Counselor Honor Code

1. Must agree to honor and follow all camp rules.

2. Will refrain from wearing make-up, nail or toe polish, facial jewelry (nose, ear, lip, eyebrow rings), or body jewelry (toe rings, ankle bracelets, etc.)

3. Will refrain from wearing tight, form fitting, see-through, and non-appropriate clothing.

Females - NO shorts, pants, mini skirts, sleeveless, low or deep v-neck blouses/tops. (dress, skirt, or split length must be at the bottom of knee or longer).

Males - NO shorts, holes in pants, sleeveless, or muscle shirts.

What To Bring

**Prepare for water activities, zip lining, and sport activities.

• Bible

• Daytime activity clothes for 5 days

• Church clothes for 4 nights

• Underclothes for 5 days/nights

• Sweatshirt/Jacket

• Shoes for church, sports, and water activities/shower 

• A robe, cover-up, or beach towel

• Toiletries/Bedding: Pillow, sheets, blanket, and/or sleeping bag, towels, washcloths, soap/shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush & toothpaste, hairspray/gel, hairbrush/comb, sunscreen/sunblock
